★插上電源，打開儀器右側(cè)面電源開關(guān)。
★提起擊桿，直至固定銷插入擊桿，保證擊桿不會下落。這時擰松金屬容器兩邊的鎖緊螺釘，抽出金屬容器，按規(guī)范要求，裝入土樣。將容器推入定位板中，并擰緊鎖緊螺釘。然后一手扶住擊桿一手拉出固定插銷慢慢放下?lián)魲U。
★打開啟動開關(guān)，儀器即進(jìn)入待工作狀態(tài)。
★轉(zhuǎn)動定時器至所需時間位置，儀器即開始工作。
★試驗結(jié)束，按《土工試驗規(guī)程》（SL237--99）《相對密度試驗》（SL237--010-99）方法進(jìn)行測算。

★使用一段時間后，適當(dāng)調(diào)節(jié)鏈條松緊及擰緊擊實錘上的各種緊固件。
★儀器傳動部分需定期加油潤滑。
